Yogi Times, October 2006
I just picked up my issue of Yogi Times today, and the first thing I always do is go to the back page to look at my horoscope. But today when I went there, I read that poem ["Midnight Tea" by Brian Michael Tracy], because it was on the back page and it caught my eye (not only because it wasn't a bunch of horoscopes, but because it kind of stopped me in my tracks a little bit - you know how that sometimes happens). Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that it was totally cool, a bright spot in my day, and I was wondering if it was going to be an ongoing thing?
It was just perfect, the poem was perfect (that is my favorite part of doing yoga, the meditation at the end), the fact that it was on the last page was perfect, and the layout was great because it was just the poem - very clean, very clear, yet full of great imagery for the imagination. This is usually how I feel after a session of yoga (I am still a little bit new at it, so I like relaxing at the end, though I have been flipping through your magazine for quite some time because my girlfriend always has one at her house). It really was perfect, and it actually brought me to your website for the first time too.
Anyway, thanks, and now I'm looking forward to the next one...

I just wanted to let you know that I loved the poem by Brian Tracy in the September issue of Yogi Times. I have been reading it for savasana in all of my classes and have been getting great feedback from the students. It is a great addition to your inspiring publication. I hope to see it as a monthly installment.

I picked up Yogi Times again for the first time in several months and I was really surprised by how much it's changed even since last spring. It looks really great. I was most impressed by the savasana poetry page in the back of the magazine. It was really beautiful. I hope that it's something that will be a regular feature in the magazine.

I thought Brian Michael Tracy's poem, "Meditate On Feeling", that appeared on the Savasana - Final Rest page in your October issue was so beautiful. I'm a yoga teacher in San Francisco and I have read it to each of my classes at the beginning and end of class. It's a wonderful mood and intention for the class. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to read more of Mr. Tracy's work in Yogi Times.

I am so enjoying the new poetry page you've recently added to the end of Yogi Times. The images and poems are so gentle and inspiring. I've cut all of them out and have them tacked to the wall by my desk at work. They help me remember to breathe and let go of the stress that usually creeps up on me around three o'clock each day. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful magazine with the community.
